“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1, KJV
A faithful mother does not have to make every season look like the one before it. Children grow. Needs change. Traditions shift. Some doors close before we feel ready, and some new responsibilities arrive before we feel equipped. God is not surprised by the season we are in. Kingdom work today is not copying yesterday perfectly; it is asking what faithfulness looks like now.
One kingdom-work step today
Name one expectation that belongs to an earlier season. Release or adjust it, then choose one small act of faithfulness that fits today: a shorter routine, a needed boundary, an honest conversation, or ten quiet minutes with God.
A prayer for moms
Lord, You know the season I am in. Help me stop measuring today by a chapter that has already changed. Give me wisdom to keep what still serves, courage to release what does not, and grace to be faithful in the work in front of me. Let our family recognize Your steady presence through every transition. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Carry this with you: Faithfulness can change shape without becoming less faithful.
