Today’s Scripture
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9, KJV
A reflection for moms
Some days the work of loving a family looks like patience, cleanup, reminders, rides, listening, and beginning again. It can feel unseen. Galatians 6:9 encourages us to keep doing good, but it does not tell a mother that she must do everything without rest or support. Scripture also teaches us to bear one another’s burdens and to come to God when we are weary.
The harvest is not ours to control. Our calling today is to be faithful in the next good thing God has placed in front of us, while trusting Him with what we cannot finish or fix. Rest, a wise boundary, and asking for help can be part of that faithfulness.
One kingdom-work action
Choose one caring task that belongs to today. Then identify one task that can wait or one person you can ask to help carry it. You do not have to earn God’s love by finishing a longer list.
A prayer for moms
Father, strengthen every mom who feels weary in the work of caring for her family. Give us wisdom to serve with love, to rest without shame, and to ask for help when we need it. Help us trust You with the harvest and see the good that is possible in this day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
